Artist’s Bio

Lyn Wiggins was born in Halifax, and graduated from the Sheridan School of Craft and Design in 1974. Since that time she has operated her own jewellery business.

Her work is influenced by nature and her extensive travels rather than by the work of her peers. A trip to Turkey produced temple pins; a trip to Egypt introduced the pyramid to her designs and a recent trip to Peru may educe pieces that are influenced by shapes of stones in walls.

Lyn has received several awards and has exhibited in a silver exhibition in Mexico.

Lyn feels satisfied with her work when someone finds it appealing enough to buy.
