Artist’s Bio

Angelika Werth's career in textiles began in Germany with a degree as Master Dressmaker-Designer. She worked for Yves Saint Laurent in Paris, France. After moving to British Columbia she became known for her "bra" quilts and in 1999 started explorations in felt.

She is part of the faculty at the Kootenay School of the Arts in Nelson, BC.
