Vic Nadurak- Seafire Glassworks
Artist’s
Bio
Vic Nadurak was born and
raised in Alberta and has predominantly lived on the West Coast. He
started working with flamework glass after teaching jewellery courses
in the school system. Initially self taught, a deepening interest led
to courses at Starfish Glassworks in Victoria, BC and also at the
Eugene School of Glass.
He works from a small
studio on Vancouver Island. "I love working with glass, it is a serpent
that you may push into a shape, and other times it beckons you to
follow a new path."
The winestoppers are made by using a torch to melt rods of borosilicate glass.
