Artist’s Bio

Born in Edmonton and having lived on both the ocean and in the Rockies, Sue has always been inspired by being outside. Her previous life has included wildlife biology, working with horses in the North and most recently raising her son Ben.

The colours and the air around her have been a dominant force in her life, and a glass course on Gabriola Island led her to the rich diversity and possibility of this medium.

That was over 13 years ago, and since then, her work has been incorporated into doors, cabinets, lamps and windows throughout Alberta, British Columbia and the USA. Having settled on the Sunshine Coast, she has enjoyed success at shows and exhibits both locally and in Vancouver.
