KEY FUNDERS

The CCBC receives assistance for its operations and programs from a variety of sources including:

  • Province of BC through the British Columbia Arts Council and the BC Gaming Commission
  • Vancouver Foundation Matching Grant Program
  • City of Vancouver
  • CMHC Granville Island
  • Canadian Heritage through Canadian Museums Association
  • annual membership fees

Further revenue is generated through special event fundraising activities, other foundations, individual and corporate sponsorship and donations. The Council benefits from in-kind donations of artwork and services and thousands of hours donated annually from dedicated volunteers from the community.
